Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
以男性的目光投向女性，又以男性的拍摄角度来塑造女性。在遭受苦难之后，甘没有走向黑色，而是身穿白色纱丽一往直前，在每段经历后变得更加具有力量，形象更加丰满。从对一个人说，再到对整个妓院，整个社区，整座城市甚至整个国家，发声让妓女们的权益得到维护，尊严得以拾回。尤其在最后两段讲话里，更是用过往的发声来争夺现时的权益，让缺失的声音响彻银幕内外。在月神的庇佑下，所有身着白色的人们在这一时刻实现了真正的平等。巴哈特的表演完美的实现了这一点。
女主人设太虚了!!前期的铺垫实在乏善可陈，女主被拐卖，一夜之间就长大并强势起来，老鸨一死，她莫名就直接上位! 这所有的转折点都是黑手党老大的出现帮助了她，后期黑手党老大对她无限输出也不怎么求回报很不理解，黑老是降临的救世主吗？女主开豪车，没见一个保镖，像个暴发户在摆场面。最糟糕的部分，女主给自己的情人包办婚姻，wtf, 按照中国的一套说辞就是，成大事不要谈儿女私情! 大女主的人设立得特别虚!最好的部分是在最后的演讲部分，煽动人心的确很有一套!

有点爽文女主的气息，但是很悲剧，电影很喜剧，原型是悲剧，不管再有钱，她们丢失的尊严再也找不回来了。我不喜欢这个电影，主要是女人被利用的悲剧，无法改变受害者被抛弃的命运，看着很励志，实则悲凉。
同时这部电影也有我无法理解的三观，女主帮助妓女获得尊严和权利是值得可敬可叹的，但是为什么不谴责让她们变成妓女的人，反而要求卖淫合法化呢？这种诉求像是为了维护她作为老鸨的利益。
革命烈士用鲜血换来今天的幸福生活，中华民族万岁！
最后居然是要求妓女合法化…好吧毕竟具有时代局限性
终究还是拍给男权看的为女性电影，电影里的人物形象太平面了。

总体来说观感很复杂，一方面对志愿军抱有最大的敬意，另一方面又觉得影片并没有很好的表现出志愿军爱国爱家的大无畏精神，可能是过多的煽情和太多的血腥冲谈了观影时的感受，远不如“一条大河波浪宽，风吹稻花香两岸”带来的心灵共鸣。
场景审美在线，服化道也在线。
似乎一切都靠lala对女主这个“妹妹”的无私支持
还好这是最后一部。平淡无奇，审美疲劳。伟大的志愿军永垂不朽！
本来情绪都到了，伍千里牺牲那段类似手撕鬼子的剧情直接把我情绪整没了。。。当年我姥爷能活着回来真是不容易。

女主爽大电影 一路开挂 但是真的好美 好炸 看完确实身心舒畅 歌舞虽然很典型的宝莱坞 但真的是好看 整个电影色彩绚丽又耀眼 让女主的白纱丽又美上了新高度
我觉得多少有点没好好看电影以及根本不了解🇮🇳国情🙄
印度，一个由“妓女”升格为“老鸨”继而再转化成“花街女魁”的传奇故事。印度人的爽片。
片头一堆感谢谁和纪念谁，之后的剧情走向就不太符合逻辑：一个妓女头子跟一个小妓女头次见面就讲述自己的心路历程？这编剧写中学作文呢吧。12分钟弃剧。
