电影版解释了巨魔的故事，为什么他们喜欢靠近城市，感觉不如单集冒险那么紧凑，但是讲完整了。

个人认为母爱只是电影的一部分核心，也暗含了一些政治隐喻。如果拒绝沟通和了解，一味给某些群体下定义贴标签，最后假的也可能成为真的。
