The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 没想到真实发生过？不平等和平等都难处理……
“Freedom is not free，它的代价是：一切！”他们不是穷凶极恶的恐怖分子，而是真正为自由和正义而战的勇士，最后的赴死一战很壮烈。全程紧张抓人，观赏性是足够的，不过作为真实事件改编，感觉拍得有点偏于商业化简单化了，并没太多可供思考回味的空间，如果深度上能再挖挖就更好了。

电影拍的有点中规中矩了，我个人觉得还是小说好看。神珠再次出演了一个有故事的男同学。女主内八走路我有点担心她的腿。很多场景拍的还是挺美的，满分100，我给75。
前1个小时铺垫过长，而且并没有把人物性格人物背景交代好，好在后30分钟的高潮捡起来了。“若为自由故，一切皆可抛”。
男男，女女，男女，所有的爱情都雷同，只是有些人要隐藏一辈子！！！
想治很深的病，却治拉开了不怎么见血的一刀。

剧作有一定基础。表达上很常规，冲突设置的新意也不太足，某些细节比较直白粗浅。在取舍上更偏向于娱乐性。另外：蝎子王也老了呀！
很明确的提出了现实中同性恋的问题，但剧情有些许离谱，尤其在处理同学之间关系，很难接受被骗当同妻之后又接受他，四星给神尾枫珠
