The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 可能就好在，人物身份的铺垫，人物形象的反差，90分钟刚刚好，剧情紧凑，没有多余的镜头。

節奏奇快，部份情節處理過於商業。比性取向更要扭曲的政治取向。男主今年這部加《Leave No Traces》，同樣借史事反抗體制，人們不會忘記。你走吧，我會找到你。
完成度相对较高的一部结合同志和犯罪的片，很难不得不让人相信在那样的大背景下的同志生存环境是多么的恶劣。
我们不该害怕自由；“我很抱歉欺骗了所有人”，“但你至少没有欺骗自己”。节奏感很不错。
