The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最震撼的甚至不是电影本身，是电影结束后的那三行字幕。
能铺垫80分钟还不知道到底要干嘛的谜面就像是先看了一集明星大侦探，还好女总理的一句“Emotions can be assets”和对性别刻板印象的反击总算让人觉得来了点劲。而那个关于强奸的谜底则在母亲的一句反问中完全揭晓，后面的紧张甚至和总理面谈的高潮也变成了可预见的补充。对印度社会问题和女性困境的直击，以及对女警察、女总理、女主播和母亲等女性角色的着力没能挽回叙事节奏的失衡。
印度电影质感还是不错！其实一开始就猜到了，女主只是借孩子让妇女qj案受到关注。电影结局很美好，现实真的改变了吗？

电影敢拍，现实还是一样残酷 ，感觉两个平行宇宙
死刑就能遏制强奸吗？从法律的角度讲，未必，但是强奸这事必须得到重视，女性的地位和权益需要提升和保护，虚构的故事，直戳残酷的现实！
故事里的主人公，一切诉求只为让政府重视qj问题，但很可惜，这么简简单单的案件，至今在印度没有得到改善。
