The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 对于处女作品来说，拍出来就已经是一个很大的胜利，把一个故事拍好拍透，需要做很多事，细节的处理及人物的刻划，同时要兼顾整体。2021年10月17日
画面二：医院中夏天和男友亲热，一旁病床上父亲带着呼吸机余日无几。性与死亡，两个绕不开的命题。
与我个人经历有多少相似之处，有共鸣。病人带给家庭的影响，很残酷。或许也有编导自身的影子，或者至少做过调研。拍摄朴实无华，室内空间内也有轻盈的调度，后半部分的超现实段落让我背脊发凉。
两星半，我的天呐多好的题材啊拍成这样就离谱，这电影拍的到底是什么啊！这个题材多好啊！多少冲突可以探讨啊！多现实啊！是我会从头哭到尾的题材啊！这是什么！这拍的是什么啊！
5分。美则美已……但是泡泡星人征服地球的大计这么简单就给毁了，我不能接受。
女主角身上的那个水泡看的真的让人头皮发麻
高概念设定片，不喜欢，没有好好讲故事，全程跑酷。画面好看，音乐好听。
导演在拍之前可以看出做了大量的考察和准备，很多场景和故事都比较的现实。
但整片中的风格和元素难以在一以贯之的作者掌控力下显得杂糅

真的是醉了，自从《你的名字》大火之后，霓虹剧场版动画这几年怎么竟是用天马行空的世界观和设定用来谈恋爱？？？一流的作画和让人心醉神迷的泡泡滤镜，都拯救不了空洞拉胯的故事性……
女主从头到尾状态就没对过，生硬的台词毫无电影感。就像里面所说的寡淡无味，其实叙事也是这样。超现实段落很诡异，我最想知道的是秦牧的职业是什么？还有为啥要打码，有必要吗？

霸权社万岁😭😭每一帧都是一张壁纸 但是这作画 it deserve a better story.
艺术可以搞，但是没必要。这也不是艺术啊。一个“女性视角”的片子，毫无女性视角的视听/叙事。
