The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 现实生活的矛盾，妈妈看得反而没有奶奶清楚。
语言蕴含着很多气息，方言电影更有味道。本土演员更生动，用得好。
好好看，好真实，在深圳的打工人看哭了至少3次。
这些小成本的电影真的挺贴近生活的，唯一可惜的是闽南话真的太难懂。
好像都是素人演员，真的不得了。
汕头风光宣传片，潮汕地区风俗科普片，剧情烂俗，表演矫揉造作（龅牙姨除外），就一般爆米花水平，高分都是潮汕人打出来的？

片子看完还是很欣慰，结局是圆满的，不过还没有刻意的煽动感情的俗套镜头。
“外来媳妇本地郎”模式，笑料来自文化差异、现代与传统的碰撞。地域性的集中展示难免有些刻意及猎奇性，不过也充满了特有的生活烟火味。地域创作不易，加一星鼓励。“爸”“妈”之后，接下来是谁？期待下。。。
小成本佳作。虽然表演略显生涩，但剧本完成度好，音乐好听，感情饱满却没有故意煽情。

3.0；影片最后，泽凯和母亲一起去了静珊的家乡杭州，其实杭州也是一个民俗很重的城市，但这里提到民俗重，并不是拿它和潮汕做对比，而是继续去佐证前面所说，民俗会因为时代的改变而改变，可有些东西，却是变不了的。飞机之上的母亲望着窗外，她是认可静珊的，这个外省姑娘给了她做婆婆的感觉，她也是喜欢静珊的，如果不喜欢，她为何又千里迢迢来到这个女孩的城市？...
太棒了，作为一个“外省”女婿，很多细节我是有共鸣的，喜欢这样的小片。
文化差异太大，实难产生共鸣。当家庭轻喜剧看的，结果平淡的过于无趣。
