The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 作为小成本B级片还不错，虽说剧情弱了些，但让人脑洞大开的僵尸口喷沼气能源超越了N多末世片，而且血浆也足够，哈哈。
剧情倒没觉得怎么样，就是觉得其他人都是爸爸的陪衬的感觉。那个女婿，太不打眼了
挣扎，聂鲁达不再写诗，情与欲的毒，点到即止无疾而终时，还会否给与我坚强。
依然是设定出彩，剧情一般，这部续集晚了7年，如果剧情在讲究点，做成邪典b级片，就更好了

我感觉挺好的，悬疑，结果出乎意料，音乐好听，风景很美，餐厅也很漂亮，演技在线，美中不足女主演年轻时候的妆容感觉有些出戏，有些岁数了，不过演技还是很好的。
虽然有这样那样的不足之处，但是最起码让我看得很轻松，有些地方的文化差异不能理解，但还是蛮温馨的一部电影。当然，女儿们这样“作”的前提条件是：老爸有钱。所以你看，这一点其实哪里都一样。

剧情俗套，又是好人被坏人蒙骗做了恶事，最后醒悟干翻反派大头目的老套路。前期有点意思，后期平庸无聊。
跟1的关系还挺密切，剧情挺连贯。我还以为1里的男主和超人女都死了，没想到片尾还能看到，难道还有3？

有点末世《疯狂麦克斯》的意思，血浆度和渲染差了些，还算酷爽
防爆盾，防弹防手雷。丧尸提供能源和燃料。小孩子不要看，太血腥了，爆头，肠子。这都没死，爆炸火焰。
很好看的家庭剧。happy end大家都得倒救赎，新老观念的冲突在故事里体现的淋漓尽致，可惜现实中并没有很多he
就说为了爱吧，男女主明显没啥化学反应，就选不出个年轻点的？
