Alaska Rose has had a difficult few years since her mom left the family four years prior; acting out, rebelling against her single dad, Conner, getting into trouble in school and worse. But when she turns eighteen, Alaska finds herself in front of a judge in adult court for some of the same out-of-control behavior. In lieu of a jail sentence, Alaska is ordered to do community service in an assisted living facility where she is assigned to Mrs. Foster, an elderly resident who is unapproachable at best and hostile at her worst. Will Mrs. Foster be Alaska's undoing or will she simply be another obstacle on the road to the headstrong girl's freedom? As Alaska tries to minimally fulfill her court obligation and dodge actual jail time, she deals with peer pressure, static from her family, outside influences and demons from her past. Can she navigate the tumult and re-discover a relationship with God and her family or will she remain caught in the cycle of bad choices and lose what little of either is left?
很真实啊。有时候理想是完满的，现实总是交错的、困惑的，而你在其中沉默，被批评，做了道德上“错误”的事，当你自己尚未理解一切。
苟且偷生易，振臂一呼難。今年目前為止最為超出觀影預期的小成本佳作，南非種族隔離議題，這份絕對低了。前半段鋪墊過長節奏問題挺大的，後四十分鐘逐漸才算精彩起來，直到最後一幕推向高潮而後戛然而止。沒有過多的渲染隔離制度下黑人處境多麼的淒慘，主要靠細節和演員狀態來向觀眾側面傳達議題，處理得非常的細膩克制。且曼德拉全片作為麥高芬存在，並未正式出場，甚至連照片都沒出現我是挺意外的。

故事的张力很大……可惜我看的时候很累，有点犯困

和真实事件相差挺大的，加入太多刻意煽情的元素，呈现出来的观感并不令人满意。
自由不是免费的。
根据史实改编。两个角度去说，
花和人都会遇到各种各样的不幸，但是生命的长河是无止境的。
我不了解一个男同喜欢上女生的概率有多少 但从电影里看出的 安藤同学从压抑自己到拆下围在身边那堵墙到可以和周围的人融合 是个自我和解的治愈之路。
西方主旋律电影，整个电影非常脸谱化，一看长相就知道性格的那种，但是矮子里拔将军，跟其他主旋律电影比起来，已经很不错了
再顺便，勇斗这个酱油打的…不熟悉的人根本不知道是他吧…
电影拍的有点中规中矩了，我个人觉得还是小说好看。神珠再次出演了一个有故事的男同学。女主内八走路我有点担心她的腿。很多场景拍的还是挺美的，满分100，我给75。
前半段的抗争成色，在类型片范畴里可圈可点，节奏把控也凌厉。但是，从司法部长女儿一番所谓同理心表达、以及黑白混血女的“真情流露”，这种老套的政zhi正确和道德正确植入，让整个片子立即坠入烂尾深渊。
男男，女女，男女，所有的爱情都雷同，只是有些人要隐藏一辈子！！！
三个恐怖分子为了自由，不被人种压迫，制造动乱。被队友出卖后逃到银行。最终放了人质，自己战死
