Max is a real jerk. A long time ago, the successful lawyer had turned over all the routine duties of family life to his wife Nathalie.His comfort and leisure time were a far greater priority. But turning his life around is far more difficult than he had imagined.To make matters worse, Gregor turns out to be a loving, family-oriented man just what Nathalie needs. Max is desperate – he knows there is a real chance that he might lose Nathalie and the children.Willing to put everything on the line to keep his family intact, Max makes the biggest sacrifice of his life. Then something happens that is the very last thing he could have ever counted on…
旁人不能理解，实际上她因深爱亡夫又无家可归，于是只能带着遗物与思念，寄情于路上——爱令我们画地为牢，不肯放下，不肯遗忘；但爱一个人的最好结果，是最终令我们深爱这个与所爱之人共处的世界，因为爱已化为星辰、化为千风、化为飞鸟、化为晨曦。
观影过程中几度产生一种莫名的熟悉感，直到配乐第一次奏起才恍然大悟，这种孤寂与平静的诗意与Ludovico的作曲如出一辙。从有些本末倒置的角度来说，Nomadland是对鲁叔作曲的一次满分影像化表达。
孤寡老人探索生命归宿的公路之旅。比较平静的一部戏，讲述了人到晚年的女主，却失去家和伴侣，被迫以车为家独自流浪。感觉和香港的《浊水漂流》有些异曲同工之妙，同样是边缘阶层的“游牧族”，在无依无靠中熬着人生最后的时光，背负生存的尊严，思考着生命的归宿到底何去何从。

被过去束缚着不能停下，貌似自由的在路上。路上的人们都很可爱，有点过于诗和远方了。
看哭了。选择独处在别人眼里可能是偏执，但内心的孤独不足为外人道也。 -不是每个人都能抛下一切。-你确定我是抛下一切？

十几岁的时候觉得这种生活方式也不错，自由，淡泊，独立。但有了一定生活阅历后，却觉得这不过是无奈之举，如果可以选择谁不愿意有个家庭，能依偎在伴侣身旁，能与亲朋好友相聚，能享受生活给予的时光。但社会的组建和机制又让许多的人不得不为了生活忙碌奔波，为了体面活着，为了心灵的安宁，他们才不得不选择了一种艰难的生活。
想起了《荒野生存》，没什么三段式，平铺直叙的节节生活，遇到人，被邀请，离开人，仿佛人的一生一样……总想到荒野生存中的那个小哥，如果他还活着，会不会也是无依之地的一员？
镜头语言太美，科恩嫂表演也是真实到无可挑剔，连看了骑士和无依之后都开始期待永恒族了！当老无所依遇上我是布莱克，自然主义和反商业房产的力度很犀利

lovebifan：让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.
“在路上”此前是凯鲁亚克式的，是年轻的，酷的，nomadland完成了一次祛魅，直面了公路电影主人公如何拉屎撒尿的现实问题，但拍得还是很美，每一个片段单看都像纪录片，整体又是电影的，大年初一看对我构成了新的意义
低配版《拾穗者》，1. unfortunately dwelling on kinship rather than after kinship；2. 太靠音乐藏拙。Frances很擅长weird and stubborn的角色。看不出来女主角到底迷茫还是不迷茫，要还是不要什么。
本片故事线极为简单，导演不着墨在人物关系，而是轻描淡写，女主弗恩开着房车在路上，遇见了许多和她一样的人，他们各自有其在路上的理由，“去看看美好的世界”，让自己的余生不是躺在病床上，在路上去遇见你想遇见的人……弗恩最后与“圣诞老人”对话，她停不下来，停下来就抑制不住思念她过世的丈夫波，正如“圣诞老人”只有在路上才能“遇见”他过去的儿子。但本片最令人印象深刻的还是路上的风景，大部分时间都是音乐➕摄影镜头，不过除了少数的年轻人，在路上的多为苍老的人，也许只有活到那个年龄经历人生的起伏才有勇气离开住所奔向未知的旅程，探索无尽的风景。
一首流浪者的赞歌，颇有传记文学的味道。弗恩就像是美利坚的缩影，自由、勇敢、独立、具有冒险精神，但是带着伤口上路的人也注定孤独和落寞。
能否把你比作夏日璀璨
See you down the roads.
平淡却不平庸，简约却不简单，大象无形，减法的处理刚刚好。摈弃猎奇和冲突，却深切感受到导演走进并了解了这个游牧民群体。围绕着女主对爱人和生活方式的执念，最后跟游牧民领头人的一番掏心交流，给本片的主旨做了一个回甘诠释。
