The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 可恶的三个女巫，像三只有毒的乌鸦，麦克白一员猛将，并无造反之心，听信夺位之言，陷入罪恶深渊，华盛顿和科恩嫂在表现弑君者的心虚与恐惧之上，下了不小的力气，尤其科恩嫂，怂恿时坚决无情，悲苦时疯癫吓人，故事忠于莎翁，布景阴森凄冷。
很奇特，忠于莎士比亚，又不多于莎士比亚，并且，是纯然电影式的，在挖掘故事意涵上，依旧杰出。
题材多匮乏才又来折腾麦克白啊？！摄影什么的都很棒，黑白影像和“悲剧”也很搭，可是故事太家喻户晓了，实在也玩不出什么花样了。倒是丹泽尔·华盛顿和弗兰西丝·麦克多蒙德演技很过人。
戳爷很适合这种清醒的小甜剧，虽然题材很严肃，但拍出了夏天暑假的感觉。

极简却绝佳的舞台布置，生硬却精准的文本言语，以及深情自如的表演，共同完美演绎了这出经典戏剧。在女巫的预言下踏上背叛和杀戮的道路，却终因偷得来的一切而恐惧和不安，当跟随欲望走上一条不归路，便无法熄灭这片黑暗之火。
黑白的摄影和灯光都很迷人，甚至比故事更让人聚焦。麦克多蒙德太抢戏了，似乎在整个戏之外。
2190。两年后还在说热恋期间的情话，感觉太假了。后面20分钟全是拍摄花絮，有什么意义？拖时间骗钱？
还有就是男女闺蜜在床上抱着睡也不是很理解
这部剧作被改编的次数也太多了，科恩+华盛顿也没带来什么惊喜，甚至于过度舞台化的表现方式都显得有些俗套。

MV视感，看着很舒服，音乐也很舒服，印度小哥略显无聊。
没有预想的好，故事很平淡，但是充满夏日气息的高饱和度画面，和回春的戳爷散发出的少年感，真是赏心悦目
