The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很私人的叙事。最后蛮温暖的。真正的爱需要触及对方的内心，性别、外在的一切都只是躯壳。
就像导演在是有意缝合两个故事，其可见的“缝合痕迹”恰恰是电影关键所在。因为电影中两人的故事只有通过并置的方式才能更好呈现。而邦妮·泰勒的配乐也为该影片的结局注入了温情

喜欢小动物的人应该会很喜欢看吧。挺好的影片。
旁白太多了，好像一部读出来的电影。前后也略有些割裂，故事讲着讲着就跑了。有些内容还是有想法的，但是讲得方式太差了。而不老这个概念，也基本没用上啊。

在长达半小时的家庭伦理大战之后，终于抛弃了琐碎，丢下了生活终于寻找了自我。爱不分性别，人亦是。没有隔阂的灵魂之州，照片追寻你的足迹，夜路路灯下的宿醉，缠绵悱恻的吻，终究是爱意打败了抗拒。结尾的处理好棒，终要跟爱情告别，与生活上路，车开，字幕起，音乐响起，私人的渴望早就成了两个不分彼此的爱。
