The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实可以有三星半，轻松又有点温情的人与狗公路片。
大脑受伤的老兵和应激后遗症的狗，天生注定要走到一起。犬似主人形，一种玄学但很准。
演技与情节，台词，节奏，都恰到好处，于是很无聊的故事也被演绎的相当精彩
即使故事缺乏惊喜，也有一种极为平庸的发展，但会很感激一旦坐定就可从中享受到的陪伴- -是温暖的，也是可爱的。
狗狗+公路片 预告片挺有意思的 但正片挺一般的

我以为狗+公路片这种题材,只有我国才能拍这么无聊
对公路片毫无抵抗力，可能跟自己喜欢自驾有关！两名面临退伍的“老兵”开车去吊唁死去的战友，虽然一路上狗狗给男主惹了不少麻烦，但在战友的葬礼上男主还是心软了，最终男主不忍心送狗狗去安乐死而选择收养了它，对战友的思念寄托在狗狗身上，这是最好的结局了。

剧情确实太老套，但全片氛围感较好。看到男友有点出戏，总想起他在爱恋里面的表演，以为又是一部情色片。
