The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 牛逼闪闪，充满想象力，也运用了几乎一切可以搭配的不同材质的绘画雕塑装置等艺术风格 以及大胆地真人与动画与不同像素级别的特效影像结合，从头到尾就是人类命运寓言
这电影，嗯.....夸张式的表现力十分惊人，至少像猪拱槽一样挖取人腹的情节当时是恶心到我了。明显的缺点：主角的缺失；过剩的表达欲；表达的完成度较低。优点：血腥的氛围感、表现力；夸张的讽刺；阴暗质感的画面；
制作组足够努力……然而我对又脏又乱又湿的环境反感至极……看不下去
我不愿把这部影片归为普通的电影，它更像是一个真正的艺术。
看完觉得很牛逼！尤其是那个操纵时间的梗，你说会不会有一个宇宙时间是倒流的？
营造的气氛太牛逼了，每一个画面都充满了细节，意味深长
特效很厉害就是了，不是很恐怖，有种怪诞异形的美，宗教意味很浓厚
全程都在 我靠 我靠 靠！
颠覆、矛盾、混乱、痛苦、不知所云、不着边际。总有人对它嗤之以鼻，同样有人将其奉为圭臬。
讲得很抽象，又碎片化，还有许多血腥恐怖画面比较无聊
从硬件说，这已经不是电影了，是被拍下来的行为艺术。从软件说，片子拥有不低的立意，大概讲了三件事，一是地狱发生自人的恨意，在地狱的系统里生命的一切活动将只化作对彼此施加的痛苦；二是地狱的发生是必然的结果；三是轮回不止。整体是了不起的东西，硬说缺点的话，一是血腥程度还是会产生观影障碍，二是结论太绝望，没有涉及出离的解脱。
以橡皮头始，间以2001，以生命之树结。鸟嘴面具，高光骨灰。有空不如多看看人间乐园。

我该怎么说啦，第一遍看是荒谬和混乱的。并没有想看第二遍的欲望。所以不存在更深层次的解读。欲尝试将埋在影片里的折射与影子拼凑完整再讲出来，最后想想。为什么要给作者解释，或者为了我有多明白他？当然都不是。如果蛋糕切的每一块都是一个作品，我会给他4分，但这一整个蛋糕，我只能给他3分。
